# Add uMPX (microMPX) option after purchasing a Cobalt transmitter

The uMPX option can be added after the purchase of a cobalt transmitter.

To do so we will require the following:

- The unit's serial number .
- Remote access to the transmitter :  
    - Either via anydesk to a remote computer on the same network as the transmitter
    - Or via SSH to the transmitter directly (by port forwarding port 22 and port 80 )  
      If you have any issues setting this up , please speak to you IT/network administrator or contact us and we will help whenever possible

**Please note there is an additional fee for the purchase of a uMPX license**
